We are just over 12 hours into our massive adventure and a great start so far.
The flight went incredibly well where Craig and I managed to sleep for a good number of hours (I am sure that the 3 tots of Amarula and Heineken helped).
We landed in London just after 7am where we went through a ridiculous amount of checks before passing customs (cant help feeling like a convict, Craig is really stoked that no 'rubber gloves' were in sight).
Now relaxing in the Priority Pass lounge, enjoying a croissant and a hot cup of tea before boarding flight BD771 to Cairo in an hour or so.
