What a day!!!
I spoke too soon when I said that we had a great start to the adventure and things were running smoothly.
At 10:10am we boarded our plane headed for Egypt and made it to about 200m out of the parking zone, when our captain announced that we had an engine problem that needed to be taken a look at.
After about an hour of waiting, we had get off of the plane and downscale to another one.
Once all of the luggage was once again packed and the catering was onboard we finally left for Cairo....a wonderful 3 hours later :(
Finally we landed and were greeted by Shareef who took us on a life changing (almost life ENDING) drive to our hotel. Driving in Cairo is not an option if you are not an Egyptian. Craig and I were amused by the absolute chaos on the roads.
The plan for tomorrow, day 3 of our trip is to visit the pyramids, take loads of pics and explore the marvels of Egypt :)
